The silphy honey is a strong, medium aromatic honey, fruity in taste, slightly tart in the finish. The colour is golden yellow with a creamy consistency. An extremely rare and special honey, which is very difficult to find in the trade. This honey from the island of Rügen is produced in our neighbouring community of Altefähr by beekeeper U. Reinke.
